Guide

From match setup to data backup.

Follow the key steps, from starting a match to backing up your data.

Quick start

Start an X01 match in a few steps:

  1. Open New Match and choose 301, 501 or a custom start score.
  2. Set the players, legs or sets, and the in/out rules.
  3. Start the match and enter each dart or the total for a visit.

Enter scores

Enter each dart or the total for a visit.

  1. In individual-dart mode, choose a number and Single, Double or Triple.
  2. In visit mode, enter the total for up to three darts.
  3. Check the bust or checkout state before confirming the visit.

Rules, legs and sets

Choose the rules and match format before play.

  1. Use Straight or Double In and Straight, Double or Master Out.
  2. Play a single leg, First to, Best of or a set-based match.
  3. Choose the starter or rotate the start between legs.

Correct earlier visits

You can correct mistakes without restarting the match.

  1. Use visit navigation to return to the relevant entry.
  2. Replace the darts or total and confirm the change.
  3. Check the recalculated score before continuing.

Profiles and statistics

Local profiles keep matches and statistics on this device.

  1. Create a profile or play as a guest.
  2. Review averages, First 9, checkout rate, best leg and high finish.
  3. Compare head-to-head records and progress over time.

Manage match history

Match history includes completed and open matches.

  1. Filter by search text, status, format or profile.
  2. Open or continue a match, or review its legs and visits.
  3. Duplicate a match, start a rematch or delete it.

Back up data

JSON is the complete backup format.

  1. Export a complete JSON backup from data management.
  2. Keep the file outside the browser.
  3. Review the preview before importing. CSV is intended only for spreadsheets and analysis.

Install and use offline

Open the app completely once while connected to the internet. You can then use it offline.

  1. Use your browser’s installation option to add Dart Zähler to the home screen or install it as an app.
  2. You can also use the PWA in the browser without installing it.
  3. Create a backup before changing devices or clearing browser data.
