1. Scope

This privacy notice applies to the Dart Counter PWA at https://dart-zaehler-app.pages.dev/ and the associated companion website at https://dart-zaehler-guide.pages.dev/.

2. Controller

3. Provision via Cloudflare Pages

The PWA and the companion website are provided via Cloudflare Pages. The hosting service provider is:

When the PWA or the companion website is accessed, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the requested address or file, transmitted referrer information, browser and operating-system information, and network, routing and security information.

The processing serves to provide the services securely, reliably and without technical errors and to protect them against misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of the PWA and the companion website.

Cloudflare may process data through a globally distributed network. Processing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, cannot be ruled out. In its Data Processing Addendum, Cloudflare describes the use of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms.

The data is processed only for as long as necessary for provision, security and troubleshooting or to comply with legal obligations. The specific period may depend on the type of data and the relevant security or processing purpose.

4. Local data processing in the PWA

The PWA does not require a user account and does not use cloud synchronisation. Player profiles, names entered, game settings, throws, match histories and the statistics calculated from them are processed locally in the browser or in the storage of the installed PWA.

This local game data is not automatically transferred to the operator or to other devices. The operator cannot access this data.

For storage, offline operation and updates, the PWA uses technically necessary browser storage, in particular IndexedDB, Cache Storage and a service worker. These functions are necessary to provide the PWA requested by the user with its local functions and offline operation. Where information is stored on or read from the user’s device in this process, this is done on the basis of section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

Local data remains stored until the user deletes it within the PWA or through the browser or website data settings. Deleting browser or website data may irretrievably remove local profiles, matches, statistics and settings.

The user can use the JSON backup and CSV export functions offered by the PWA. Exported files are stored by the user on their own device. This does not result in any transfer to the operator.

5. Cookies, analytics and external content

The PWA and the companion website do not use analytics, marketing, advertising or social-pixel services. No externally hosted fonts are embedded.

No non-essential cookies or comparable tracking technologies are used. A consent banner is therefore not required. Technically necessary local browser storage is used exclusively for the PWA functions requested by the user.

6. Encrypted transmission

Transmission between the device used and Cloudflare is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

7. Rights of data subjects

Where the legal requirements are met, the following rights apply in particular:

The operator has no access to PWA data stored exclusively locally. This data can be deleted within the PWA or through the settings of the relevant browser.

9. Automated decisions
